I have always made myself pieces of silver jewellery, so that I could create exactly what I wanted at the time and had always enjoyed the process.
There came a time in my life when I could not continue to work as a freelance illustrator due to personal circumstances and I needed to find a creative outlet that did not have a deadline attached to it.
I began to play more seriously with silver and various other materials and found that people were liking the things that I made and so the whole thing evolved. I absolutely love this more recent stage of my career.... which really is taking the style of my paintings into silverwork and being even more decorative.
