I was a commercial illustrator for a long time working on many different types of projects.
I was commissioned to make pieces of work which involved researching Egyptian art and producing artwork which was faithful to the style and correct in content but was not an exact reproduction of existing ancient work. It was to appear as if painted on plastered walls.
